New Zealand trip - Good morning BALTIMORE!

So...... Yesterday's drive on I-95 North from Richmond at 4 p.m. was total hell. But driving over to Baltimore at 5 a.m. was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend driving at the early wee hours of the morning around DC. On the other side, the locals are still going 20 miles over the speed limit, but there's fewer of them. I'm not a big fan of headlights coming at me from behind at night, but it's still preferable to being stuck in bumper to bumper.

Found a new website this morning while looking for my long-term parking. Way.com found me parking at under $5 a day. It's in an outdoor lot at the Sheraton 2 miles from BWI, but I have no complaints about the pricing and it's a very nice parking lot area.

Greeted by Martece with a smile & quick parking check-in.  I was offered complementary STARBUCKS coffee & free shuttle to BWI. SWEET!

Again -- check-in with the Air Canada staff was seamless, smiling, and all-around AWESOME!

Love traveling on my own! Love watching the people... listening... talking.... smiling.... engaging.... Strangers are soooooo fascinating and interesting!!!

Raining outside.... time to rest & have a customs-checked legal granola bar for breakfast -- and reading!   
"COFFEE AND CONTEMPLATION" time...... Oooooooo..... there's a Dunkin's over there..... that'll be next.

ANIKA!   You left your bag laying around again!  I told you to take it to your room & here you are in BWI ..... arghhh!!!!   You know they don't want you leaving bags unattended in the airport..... and what are you doing here with a ticket anyway....
