New Zealand - Flight Itinerary

7/6/2019 - Saturday Planning Time, 11pm

My apologies in advance for not getting this put together further in advance.  I have been planning to set up this Blog for the New Zealand trip especially, but I also plan to include other adventures that I have (with or without the best little adventurers that could ever travel along with their parent).  The only regret I have is that neither you nor they could be on this trip with me.  I know it will be EPIC, so I hope you can enjoy it in absentia.

Without further ado, here is the itinerary - with as much information as I can provide since I will also be using this post to keep track of where I will be going and what times I need to arrive.  The real stupidity here is this is the first time I'll be looking at a lot of these items in real detail.

I will be staying overnight with a Friend Sunday evening in Falls Church, then travelling to BWI in time to get my morning flight.  I'll have two layovers between BWI and New Zealand and I'm honestly not sure about the luggage situation.  I have planned to take a carry on bag and check a bag, but I'm honestly not sure if I can check the bag all the way through or if I'll have fees for the hopper flights and only free for the final trip to NZ.  Not like I have a choice -- I'll just have to deal regardless.  Also - I know about the 1 quart ziplock requirement for liquids, but what do they care about snack items that I would bring with me?  Will there be an issue about the 4 cans of peanuts I've put in my checked bag to NZ. (Virginia props here!  Must share our most recognizable export that is not grown in the Bay!)
